About Me
All my working life I have been involved with health and healing. I qualified as a physiotherapist
in 1977 and worked extensively in the NHS and the private sector in London covering a variety
of disciplines: rheumatology, orthopaedics, general medical and surgical, cardio-thoracic, intensive care and musculoskeletal outpatient work. My work in the private sector included a time with British Petroleum, working with employees to optimise their working environment thus reducing musculoskeletal stress.
In 1984 I was running a physiotherapy practice and health club for the Hilton Hotel group in Nairobi, Kenya. It was at this point in my career that I realised how important an holistic approach is to health. I started to concentrate on people’s nutritional status, emotional well-being as well as their physical fitness.
Since qualifying as a spiritual healer and counsellor I address my clients on all levels of their being: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I am very mindful that it is my privilege to work with those seeking health, to help them find what they need on every level of their being.
I work from The Crediton Complementary Health Centre and the Well-Being Centre both of which are on the High Street in Crediton. Once a week I am in Great Torrington (N. Devon) at the Well Street Clinic. I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, The Institute of Counselling, the No Hands Massage Association and the Spiritualist National Union and carry full public liability and indemnity insurance for each association and practice in accordance with their strict Code of Ethics and Conduct.
I facilitate workshops on the creative power of thought, soul awareness and healing and offer courses on meditation and healing.
